Does Rowta work offline?
Yes! Everything is stored locally on your device. Cloud sync is optional and happens when you're back online.
How do I share a trip?
Open your trip, tap "Share", and you'll get a 6-character invite code. Send it to your mates via WhatsApp, text, whatever. They enter the code in the app and they're in.
Does Rowta track my location?
No. We only store locations when you explicitly add a stop to a trip. There's no background tracking — ever.
How does expense splitting work?
When you add an expense, Rowta splits it equally between all trip members by default. You can also set custom amounts or percentages. At the end of the trip, "Settle Up" shows who owes whom, minimised to the fewest payments.
Is Rowta free?
Core features are free. We may offer premium features in the future, but the basics — trip planning, cost tracking, and expense splitting — will always be free.
Can my friends use it without signing up?
Your friends need the app and an account (Sign in with Apple or Google) to join a shared trip. We'll look at making guest access easier in the future.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
