1. Acceptance

By using Rowta, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description

Rowta is a trip planning and expense sharing application for iOS. It helps you plan routes, track costs, and split expenses with travel companions.

3. Your Account

You sign in via Apple or Google — we never handle passwords
You're responsible for keeping your device secure
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings

4. User Content

You own your trip data. By using Rowta, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

We don't claim ownership of your trips, notes, or expenses
We won't use your data for marketing or sell it to third parties
Shared trips are visible to all trip members

5. Acceptable Use

Don't:

Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the app
Use the app for illegal purposes
Abuse the sharing features (spam invites, etc.)
Misrepresent your identity

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Basic features are free
Premium features (if applicable) are billed through the App Store
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings

7. Availability

We aim for high uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Rowta works offline by design — cloud features sync when available.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SETT & STONE LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ROWTA.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using Rowta and delete your account at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
